1. Commission and plans
Pheriko charges commission on each successful order, and the rate depends on your plan:
- Starter (free): 2% commission per successful order.
- Growth and Pro (paid monthly plans): no Pheriko commission, just the plan fee.
Plan prices, limits and the current rates are shown on the seller pricing page and in your dashboard under Billing. The commission rate that applies is fixed on each order when it is placed.
2. Other amounts on an order
- Payment gateway fee (and GST on it) for online payments. We deduct your share, first as an estimate and then the actual figure once the gateway reports it.
- A shipping deduction, only when the courier cost of an order is not covered by the delivery charge the shopper paid, or when the order qualified for your free-delivery threshold (the shopper paid no delivery charge). Who bears that uncovered cost is set per store: unless your store has a different arrangement recorded with Pheriko, you bear all of it. An arrangement can split the cost between you and Pheriko, or have Pheriko bear it. Each order uses the arrangement in force when it was placed, and a later change applies only to later orders. The deduction is shown on the order ("Shipping cost adjustment" or "Free-shipping contribution").
- The delivery charge a shopper pays belongs to Pheriko and is not your sales revenue. If it exceeds the courier cost, you are not charged and the difference is not credited to you. If you deliver an order yourself, or no courier is booked, there is no courier cost to offset and the delivery charge stays with your store.
- The courier's final invoice decides the courier cost. Until it arrives, the booking quote is used as an estimate. If the invoiced amount differs, only the difference is added to or taken off your deduction, and every change is recorded with its reason.
- If your available balance cannot cover a shipping deduction, we never take your balance below zero for it. The part we could not take is recorded as an amount you owe on that order, shown to you and to Pheriko, and recovered from your later earnings. Pheriko may also write it off. Nothing is hidden or reduced without a record.
- The small platform fee a shopper pays at checkout belongs to Pheriko. It is never taken from your sales or counted in your commission.
3. When you are paid
An order becomes payable once all of these are true:
- it has been delivered and paid for (for courier-collected cash on delivery, once Pheriko has received the cash);
- its hold period has passed: the longer of your return window and the standard settlement hold, and never less than two days after delivery;
- no return, dispute or chargeback is open on it;
- your store is approved and your KYC and payout account are verified.
You receive the order total minus the commission, gateway fee and any shipping deduction above. The minimum payout request is ₹100, paid to your verified bank account or UPI ID. For cash on delivery orders you deliver yourself, you already hold the cash, so any amount due to Pheriko is deducted from other payouts.
4. RTO (return to origin)
RTO is when a parcel comes back undelivered, for example the shopper refused it, could not be reached or the address was wrong. In that case:
- the order is not settled as a sale, and no commission is earned on it;
- the additional courier cost of the return leg (the RTO charge) is borne by the Seller;
- the product comes back to you, and you should check it and restock it.
To keep RTO low, keep addresses and phone numbers confirmed, dispatch quickly, and describe products accurately.
5. Returns, refunds and commission
When a refund is made on an order, the product value is deducted from your settlement, and the commission on the refunded amount is reversed. The courier cost of a return the shopper asked for is borne by the Seller, unless the order is a platform fault.
If the order was already paid out before a return or refund was approved, the amount is adjusted against your next payouts.
Cancellations. When a shopper cancels before dispatch, they are refunded the full amount including any delivery charge they paid, except the platform fee and the payment gateway fee, which are kept. When you cancel an order, or a returned parcel comes back to you, the shopper is refunded in full. If a courier cost has already been incurred on a cancelled order, it is borne by the Seller.
6. Holds, adjustments and disputes
We may hold or adjust a payout for fraud concerns, an open dispute or chargeback, a breach of the Seller Onboarding Agreement, or a figure that is still an estimate. Your dashboard shows why an order is not yet payable and when the hold ends. You can raise a payout query through the grievance process.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes, including GST and income tax. Where the law requires Pheriko to collect tax at source or report your sales, we will do so and show it in your statements.
8. Changes
We may change fees or rules. Material changes are notified in your dashboard or by email ahead of taking effect, and orders already placed keep the rates they were placed under.
